2016	Dharma	IT	This innovative app, patented straight out of silicon valley in 2016 is allowing us to collect data from war zones.  Thanks Dharma for helping us find solutions to reaching some of the most vulnerable communities that we work with.
2016	Collateral Repair Project (CRP)	NGO	C4R parntered with CRP in Jordan to support different at risk groups in Jordan in 2016.  Its great to see how capoeira promotes the mental health and well being of so many different people affected by war, and conflict.
2016	Idrots Stiftelse	Foundation	Idrotstiftelsen is generously supporting C4R with its core capacity development.  This includes providing the necessary seed funding to roll-out the Capoeira Changemakers' Programme, which will see 7 Fellowships Awarded to Syrian, Palestinian and Jordanian capoeira teachers to support their own communities' health and wellbeing 2016 onwards.
2016	Robert Bosch Foundation	Foundation	The Robert Bosh Foundation is generously supporting C4R in Jordan to run classes with vulnerable refugees living in Azraq Refugee Camp.

2015	East London University	Academic	C4R developed two original research papers in partnership with the University of East London. The papers addressed the unique ways that C4R used monitoring and evaluation methodology and the impact of capoeira on children in conflict zones.
2013 / 2014	Doha Goals	Award	Ummul Choudhury and Tarek Alsaleh have both spoken at Doha Goals, addressing how sport  can be used as an innovative solution to reach youth.
2015	Anna Lindh Foundation	Award	C4R is part of their EU/Mediterranean network, helping to promote dialogue between cultures.  C4R also won an Anna Lindh Award recognising its work with capoeira and refugees in 2015.
2013 / 2015	Beyond Sport	Award	C4R was shortlisted for an Award with Beyond Sport in 2015.  C4R has also been engaged with Beyond Sport through presenting at its conference, and engaging in the refugee working group.

2010	Palestinian Red Cross Society (PRCS)	Charity partner	C4R partnered with PRCS to provide training to PRCS volunteers, using capoeira, as part of youth engagement and developing leadership skills.  C4R also develiered capoeira sessoins to vulnerable Palestinian children living in Hebron and in Ramallah.

2013	Doctors Without Borders (MSF)	Charity partner	C4R negotiated an agreement with MSF to refer students who needed extra support to MSF mental health services
2014	Asfari Foundation	Foundation	The Asfari Foundation's support has been integral to the development and sustainability of C4R's work with Syrian refugees.  This ongoing partnership is allowing C4R to leverage its long history of working with Syrians, and continue to support incredible work in some of the hardest to reach communities affected by the Syrian war.
2013	Hoping Foundation	Foundation	The Hoping Foundation gave C4R the start-up funding it needed to develop its work in Palestine.  The Foundation's support has been key to  allowing C4R to grow, develop and expand it work across the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.
2015	Open Society Foundation	Foundation	The Open Society Foundation supported a project to give acces to cappeira for female refugees in particular.  This target group is incredibly difficult to reach, and having extra support from the OSF allowed C4R to develop its programming in relation to working with women and girls in particular.
2012	Drosos Foundation	Foundation	The Drosos Foundation provided seed funding to start-up a long-term project in Palestine.  This partnership has been integral to C4R's ability to develop its work in Palestine including projects in Ramallah, Shufat Refugee Camp, and Bethany; as well as helping C4R develop its progamming to launch innovative monitoring and evaluation methodologies.
2013 / 2016	Cultures of Resistance	Foundation	Our partnership with Cultures of Resistance supported bringing international capoeira mestres to the region to support with cultural exchange, and developing the skills of the local capoeira community.
2013	European Comission	Government	The EC and Save the Children partnered with C4R on the Project  'Promoting Healthy Youth Development in East Jerusalem from 2013 - 2016'.  This Project targeted Paletinian youth who are at prticular risk of drugs, dropping out of school and taking up unskilled (illegal) labour in Israel.
2010	UNRWA	Government	the Brazilian Embassy ( has supported C4R with funding to support vulnerable youth in both Jordan and Palestine through capoeira.
2013	Braziian Embassy	Government	The Brazilian Embassy ( through Itamaraty the Braziian Foreign Office, has supported C4R with funding to support vulnerable youth in both Jordan and Palestine through capoeira.
2015	Australian Embassy	Government	The Australian Embassy supported Capoeira4Refugees with continuing to implement and develop its work in Azraq Refugee Camp, in Jordan.  C4R provided capoeira classes, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing, to vulnerable child, youth refugees including both male and female students.
2009 ongoing	UNHCR	Government	C4R partnered with UNHCR in Syria to work with vulnerable Iraqi youth refugees, and with women who had been sexually abused and were living in a safe house for women.
2014	Save the Children	INGO	C4R's partnered with Save the Children in Palestine  between 2014 and 2016 to work with vulnerable Palestinian youth as part of a project on drugs awareness.  C4R worked closely with Save the Children through the West Bank and East Jeruslam, with communities who would otherwise have little access to psychosocial activities.
2014	Norwegian Refugee Council	INGO	C4R's partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has provided support in pringing Capoeira to Azraq Refugee Camp. NRC helps us to obtaining security clearances for all staff we are using NRC's venues to run capoeira classes for refugees.  Community space is limited in the refugee camps, and having the NRC space has proven invaluable in allowing CR to run classes to support the health and well-being of extremely vulnerable communities.
2013	International Rescue Committee	INGO	The International Rescue Committee provided funding for C4R to continue its pschosocial work with refugees in the West Bank in 2012.  This funding allowed C4R to grow its work in Palestine.
2014	CARE	INGO	The partnership with Care Jordan has been essential in allowing C4R to work in both Syrian refugee communities living in refugee camps in Jordan, as well as Syrians living outside the camps. Care has provided venues so that C4R can deliver trainings, as well as logistical support to access otherwise hard to reach communities.
2009	UNICEF	INGO	UNICEF was one of C4R's first partners.  C4R worked with UNICEF in Al Tanf Refugee Camp, targeting Iraqi/Palestinians who had been forced to flee the Iraqi war and were now living in the desert no-man's land between Syria and Iraq.
2015 / 2016	Mercy Corps	INGO	C4R is grateful to Mercycorp for helping support a Project with Syrians impacted by the war.

2009 / 2011	Jaffra	NGO	This Palestinian NGO originally based in Yarmouk, a Palestinian Refugee Camp in Syria was a great partner in helping reach out to vulnerable youth.  Projects took place between 2009 and 2011.
2010 / 2011	BASMA	NGO	Through a partnership with Basma, C4R organised visits to children who were in hospital, mostly suffering from cancer.  Capoeira activities helped lift morale, and brings smiles to children who really needed hope in their lives.
