The Hoping Foundation gave C4R the start-up funding it needed to develop its work in Palestine.  The Foundation's support has been key to  allowing C4R to grow, develop and expand it work across the West Bank, and East Jerusalem.

The Open Society Foundation supported a project to give acces to cappeira for female refugees in particular.  This target group is incredibly difficult to reach, and having extra support from the OSF allowed C4R to develop its programming in relation to working with women and girls in particular.

The Drosos Foundation provided seed funding to start-up a long-term project in Palestine.  This partnership has been integral to C4R's ability to develop its work in Palestine including projects in Ramallah, Shufat Refugee Camp, and Bethany; as well as helping C4R develop its progamming to launch innovative monitoring and evaluation methodologies.

The EC and Save the Children partnered with C4R on the Project  'Promoting Healthy Youth Development in East Jerusalem from 2013 - 2016'.  This Project targeted Paletinian youth who are at prticular risk of drugs, dropping out of school and taking up unskilled (illegal) labour in Israel.

The Australian Embassy supported Capoeira4Refugees with continuing to implement and develop its work in Azraq Refugee Camp, in Jordan.  C4R provided capoeira classes, supporting both physical and mental wellbeing, to vulnerable child, youth refugees including both male and female students.

C4R's partnered with Save the Children in Palestine  between 2014 and 2016 to work with vulnerable Palestinian youth as part of a project on drugs awareness.  C4R worked closely with Save the Children through the West Bank and East Jeruslam, with communities who would otherwise have little access to psychosocial activities.

C4R's partnership with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC) has provided support in pringing Capoeira to Azraq Refugee Camp. NRC helps us to obtaining security clearances for all staff we are using NRC's venues to run capoeira classes for refugees.  Community space is limited in the refugee camps, and having the NRC space has proven invaluable in allowing CR to run classes to support the health and well-being of extremely vulnerable communities.

The International Rescue Committee provided funding for C4R to continue its pschosocial work with refugees in the West Bank in 2012.  This funding allowed C4R to grow its work in Palestine.

The partnership with Care Jordan has been essential in allowing C4R to work in both Syrian refugee communities living in refugee camps in Jordan, as well as Syrians living outside the camps. Care has provided venues so that C4R can deliver trainings, as well as logistical support to access otherwise hard to reach communities.

UNICEF was one of C4R's first partners.  C4R worked with UNICEF in Al Tanf Refugee Camp, targeting Iraqi/Palestinians who had been forced to flee the Iraqi war and were now living in the desert no-man's land between Syria and Iraq.
