Vision Organization

The years of war and extremism in Raqqa have led to the destruction of 90% of the city's infrastructure, and Syria's ancient cities and archeological sites are among that destruction. Vision organisation works to protect and preserve heritage in the city of Raqqa according to international standards, as heritage plays a civilised and cultural role in the history of our society, and we are working to raise the level of cultural awareness in the community regarding this role.

After the Syrian war and occupation of ISIS, cultural heritage was destroyed. To retrieve it, Vision initiative is striving to provide literature and art knowledge to young adults to revive and preserve their cultural heritage. The project offers theoretical and practical knowledge to introduce culture and its importance to humans - literary criticism - and novel. Practical activities consist of poetry, story and theater. As for the plastic arts, developing talents in drawing with pencil and watercolor through holding training workshops and giving theoretical lectures on the basics of drawing and its topics.
