Qadar Organisation

Qadar Organisation is a civil society (non-governmental) social development organisation founded in 2019. With the mission to achieve development in all fields and humanitarian sectors, Qadar organisation aims to empower women to to exercise their role in public affairs, build individuals’ capacities and deepen the concept of citizenship to reach a socially balanced society. Amid the occupation , Girls and women were affected disproportionately and weren’t allowed an education. Qadar organisation works with women aged 20-25 from Sahel al-Banat camp in Raqqa by providing literacy lessons from reading, writing and arithmetic.

The ‘Orchid’ project targets the problem of illiteracy amongst women in Sahel Al-Banat camp, by giving classes on reading, writing, and math/calculation. Illiteracy impedes the potential of women and prevents them from building and creating. It hinders them from establishing their own small businesses in the area and providing for themselves and their families. By solving this problem, we hope to empower women and assist them in playing a bigger economic and social role in their community. Our beneficiaries will be women above 20 years of age, who missed out on attending school during the war.
